Flashes of Confusion

I have decided that when I kneel down to propose I will not confuse and distract the girl from the main issue/question at hand by flashing something shiney in her eyes.

It is not that I think girls are like crows that will just be attracted to something shiny, rather I don't want to confuse the poor girl with one of the main turning point in her life. I mean if someone push you up to a corner/wall and shine a flashlight in your face forcing you to say yes...won't you be just so scare and just say yes for the sake of saving your life?!

No, this is not my case for not buying her a ring. No really! Why don't you believe me?! Please believe me! I am broke!!!
