SF

Note: I seem to have a one night affair with SF this year.

I was discussing the topic of people's unwillingness, with my dear cousin, to travel beyond their childhood stumping grounds. Reasons extend from wasting money, don't have time, the inconveniences, the lack of speaking and learning a foreign language, kids, work, food, climate...the list can roll over the highest hills and extend to the deepest seas. We both nod that such people are just wasting their life and not exploring beyond their small world and having such narrow vision.

Now I would like to retract what I say before. After sometime thinking, we have to actually admire and be thankful for people with such conservative mindset. Because they are family, they are the people that make our stumping ground feel like home again. They are the one that are not changing, keeping the sense of comfort, warm and aura of our childhood. They are why we feel at home once we step back from a long journey away from home or after a long day at work.
