Picture source: A wonderful couple at Jewels.

Right this moment I feel totally detach and independent from the usually securities I had form around me. Family, friends and close friends are now only a phone call away because a phone call is the only way to reach them now. So where to start? How does one build up those securities here again?

Craigslist, Google Earth and Google News are what I been turning to brute force myself in getting familiar with the Washington area. The highways and road with the mass chaos of traffice only makes it hard to learn the road at a steady pace.

Here is a website that I just been introduce that has really turn my point of view.

The question now is how do you fit eighteen years in 115 cube/feet of space? I ponder this as I sat down in the middle of Emerson courtyard during the exchange of classes, but it did not take long for the answer to occur to me.

It will take around 20 minutes for me to see another city limit sign and than I will know that I am out of Gainesville city limit. As I pass the ciy limit sign I will say a slient prayer before I proceed onto 301.

Excited? Ready? Prepare emotionally? They all ask. What I actually feel is eagerness. Calculating eagerness to proceed. Not to sound cold about the coming event, but I do not like to be hold down too long. My question is more why am I not there yet?

Respect

Pictures source: Cousin, but credit to whoever took or created this picture.

This is more for the people who has been teachers or in some form of educating or disciplining students or younger adults.

Brian asks "Sorry, but this is off the topic. But how do you get students to respect you as well as fellow students without embrassing them in the public or be harsh on them?"

I personally do not know. I have some form or blurred ideas, but none that take a form to provide me a solid reply to this question. So this question is up to you guys. What actions or words would you use to answer my friend?

Crayons

Picture source: Yin in Crayon. Copyright Sara Beth Cooper.

Sara Beth Cooper, who is currently dating #34 linebacker of the University of Miami, is a very creative individual. On the first day of class she show me her folders, which were all fully colored and designed specially for each class.

Her taste in interior design is simple and elegant. Using just red, white, orange and black she transforms her apartment into a place of awe. I have designate her as my interior designer, which I plan to fly in to do all my decorating.

Every Given Gator Game the Skies are Orange & Blue

Pictures source: Morning of the 2006 Gator Football Season on RTS 43 route from SFCC to Downtown.

The past few days has been a blurr of activities. I guess blur wouldn't truely describe that events, since blur indicate that the passage of time was unplanned and unfocus, but rather events now has taken up a more quicken pace.

Statue: Scheming, plotting and planning.
Music Video: Kiss - Because I am a Girl
Book: done with Witch, looking for another book
Movies: Snake on the Plane, Superman Return, Lost in Translation, Notting Hill, Saw 2
Thinking of picking up: Boston Legal
Physical: yoga (Slogan: "100 minutes of yoga in 100 degree"), biking (from UF to SFCC)
In mind: Nurses in white scrubs are so hot right now!

Since the end of the interviews I have quickly recieved several offers that, in the past, I would be so giddy (Katie Fuster kind of giddy if you want to know the exact kind) to talk about and quickly accepted with out negotiation of salary and benefits. I have the following offers:

Site Planning - Fort Pierce, FL - upward 52k with profit sharing

GRU - Gainesville, FL - upward 49K

Pediatric IT at Shands - Gainesville, FL - 34K (TEAMS position. Administrator for Wirless network and Microsoft Exchanger server)

TAC IT at Warrington College of Business - Gainesville, FL - OPS "Full Time" whatever that means.

Interesting all the location indicate that I should stay in Gainesville.

The main question now is : Should I stay? or should I go?
