Typcially after two years most couples get marry here in the USA. At least that is what I am seeing from my surrounding friends.
Two years! Isn't that a bit fast?
Well, what about Tawian? How long?
Certianly not two years. Currently for me I am at five years, which is a dangerous time in a relationship.
Why is that?
Well, once five years have passed the relationship has two paths; marriage or just become friends again. For me I am at the five year and I fear that I have lost the flame in my relationship. I decided to move to American to find the flame again with my boyfriend.
Oh, I see. But wait......you guys still live together. So moving here is not really a change at all. Usually, you move hoping distance will create that spark/flame again when you meet. And how long have you guys been here? six months? How is that sparking coming?
Asi. Asi.
Hmmm.....well, good luck

yep, 5 years is just right. However, my wife wishes she could count those 5 years in our "anniversary's". But I insist they are excluded. What do you think?

I would not include the five year of dating as part of the marriage anniversary.
For dating it can break off anytime. You know...the usually on and off thing. What are to be counted are the cemented commitments; usually marriage.
If she wants to add it in I say no. It will be like cheating.
I also asked two friends; a guy and a girl. Both agree with me. With that you should now know without a doubt.
But maybe there is a way to count those five years in some way; like some fractions of a marriage year.
