A side trip to NYC was just the ticket to get some fresh air from DC and work.
Beside work and flying back to Gainesville for weddings there was nothing else that I have done to feel alive again.

I watch Sicko last night. It was really boring for the most part because I really don't care about health care at all. Bitching about health care is so stupid. The government can't fix anything! I work for the government doing something super simple and yet it screw up all the time. How can the government fix health care? People should be glad for whatever life they get and if they die its not the insurance companys fault. I don't have health insurance by choice. If I die, it is my own damn fault, and I deserve to die. If I don't die, I get to save money. I have to pay for the vacuum cleaner somehow.

So I broke down and purchased the Dyson Slim. It should be here by midweek. After that I will be testing the full design and function of this baby! And after that I will have pictures of me and Slim on picnics and dinners. Then in one of the pictures you will notice a shiny ring.

Wedding was short and boring; don't really know anyone there. Thank God Leah was able to go.

Having lived here for 18 years one gets to know all the backroads, traffic patters and traffic light timing; and it doesn't help with driving a rental car that is heavily insure just in case these crazy college students decide to do something stupid.
Today Steph is getting marry. Leah will be my date and I hope that it will be fun. Don't have a camera, but hope that someone will.
